SUMMARY:Rehearse with the Flea St Band
DESCRIPTION:The Flea St Band\, the house band for the Peninsula Ukulele Group\, rehearses songs twice a month for upcoming Meetups and performances. You are invited to participate in this rehearsal. We are providing a new opportunity to play our songs with the Band in a casual\, low stress environment before a Meetup occurs. \nAll levels are welcome. All instruments\, including ukuleles\, and singers are welcome. If you are a beginner\, no worries. Play what you can and observe. No one is watching you and judging you. It’s a friendly and welcoming environment.\nThe songs range from beginner to intermediate level with some frequent chord changes\, varying strums and optional fingerpicking and riffs. Being able to play basic and intermediate chords\, reading tabulature and ukulele chord diagrams is helpful. Practicing the songs before and after rehearsal is helpful. \nA link to the song sheet will be provided for each session and the songs are projected on a screen at the rehearsal. You may want to bring a tablet\, laptop or printed playlist\, if you can’t see the songs well on a screen from a distance.\nNow if you would like to improve your playing or just play together more than once a month\, you’re in luck. You’ve found the right place!

DESCRIPTION:Please join our hosts\, Larry and Linda\, along with the Flea St Band\, as we sing songs selected by the “Wheel of Songs”. This spinning wheel will select the order of songs we play. It consists of the best 17 songs from my favorite of Glenn’s playlists- “Take It Easy\, the Sounds of Country Rock”! The audience will be provided an opportunity to volunteer to spin the wheel and win a ukulele themed prize of their choice. Glenn will lead the band to play your chosen song. So fun!
