The Flea St Band, the house band for the Peninsula Ukulele Group, rehearses songs twice a month for upcoming Meetups and performances. You are invited to participate in this rehearsal. We are providing a new opportunity to play our songs with the Band in a casual, low stress environment before a Meetup occurs.

All levels are welcome. All instruments, including ukuleles, and singers are welcome. If you are a beginner, no worries. Play what you can and observe. No one is watching you and judging you. It’s a friendly and welcoming environment.
The songs range from beginner to intermediate level with some frequent chord changes, varying strums and optional fingerpicking and riffs. Being able to play basic and intermediate chords, reading tabulature and ukulele chord diagrams is helpful. Practicing the songs before and after rehearsal is helpful.

A link to the song sheet will be provided for each session and the songs are projected on a screen at the rehearsal. You may want to bring a tablet, laptop or printed playlist, if you can’t see the songs well on a screen from a distance.
