Have you ever wanted to play ukulele? Signed up as a member of PUGs but don’t feel ready to jam with a group yet? Got a new ukulele and don’t know where to start? Would you like to meet new friends from the ever growing ukulele community? Well, we’ve got you covered with “Uke University”, a one month weekly intensive ukulele school sponsored by the Peninsula Ukulele Group and Belmont Library.
These classes are geared for a new beginner with 4 weekly 90 minute free classes. You will learn everything from how to tune your uke, strum, play chords and will play your first song at the end of lesson one! Fast paced, hands on and fun with ukulele instructors available to assist you. All ages are welcome.
You will end the series playing in your first Jam Session with the PUGs accompanied by an instructor. No worries!

Class size is limited to 12. All classes will be held on Wednesdays, 6-7:30pm on Aug 2, Aug 9, Aug 23 and 30. Sign up by August 1, 2023.
